Bay Pointe Outdoors Limited Warranties

Outdoor Kitchen, Fire Pit, Fire Table, and Fireplace Limited Warranty: 


BAY POINTE OUTDOORS warrants the structural frame (or core) of the Island, Fire Pit, Fire Table, and Fireplace to maintain its integrity for a period of five (5) years from the date you receive the product. This warranty applies to the original owner and is non-transferable.

DEFECTS in materials and workmanship are warranted for one (1) year from the date you receive the product.

DECORATIVE FINISHES are warranted to be free of defects at the time of delivery and installation. This warranty includes but is not limited to, tile, stucco, grout, stone, granite, and brick.

COMPONENT WARRANTIES are extended through the manufacturer for components and accessories. These items include but are not limited to, grills, refrigerators, keg coolers, doors, drawers, stereos, and speakers. Refer to the owner’s manuals of each component included with the Bay Pointe Outdoors product for warranty details.

BUYER’S MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITY

  • If equipment is connected to a permanent gas supply line or building line, all connections must be performed by a licensed plumber. All electrical connections must be performed by a licensed electrician.

  • All products MUST be covered during extended periods of non-use during winter months.

  • All granite surfaces MUST be sealed every six (6) months with a water-based granite sealer.

  • Flames from fire pits or fire tables should not touch finished surfaces (do not operate fire pits or fire tables during windy conditions).

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS apply if the item has been subjected to neglect, misuse, alteration, unauthorized repairs, relocation, dents, dings, scratches, incorrect applications, Acts of God, and all other uncontrollable events are not covered by this warranty.

Any minor discrepancies that may occur to finishes (such as tile, stone, stucco, granite, etc.) during or after the warranty period ARE NOT typically considered to be a warranty issue. For this reason, we include repair kits for all finishes to allow you to make these repairs when necessary.

Examples of acts that ARE NOT covered by this warranty include, but are not limited to:

  • Scratches caused by normal use or abuse.

  • Damage due to extreme weather (hot, cold, rain, winds, severe weather, snow, etc.)

  • Variation in colors due to exposure to sunlight, rain, wind, snow, etc.

  • Damage caused by insects, vermin, and animals.

  • Damage caused by dirt, debris, or water damage.

  • Damage caused by moving, repositioning, or relocating of product.

  • Failure to follow installation instructions, and use of unsuitable foundations.

  • Failure to follow operation instructions of any factory-installed components or hardware.

  • Failure to maintain the product in a reasonable/responsible manner.

  • Does not cover third-party materials or labor costs incurred for assembly, permits, and inspections.

  • Operation of the fire pit or fire table during windy conditions.

How to care for your granite


BAY POINTE OUTDOORS warrants our pergolas and pavilions against manufacturer defects and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date you receive the pergola/pavilion kit. This warranty applies to the original owner and is non-transferable.

BUYER’S MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITY

  • Pergolas and pavilions must be assembled within thirty (30) days from the date they are received.  If kits are assembled after thirty (30) days from the delivery date, the warranty becomes VOID and we will charge for replacement of missing parts, warped boards, or other components contained in the pergola kit.

  • Seasonal temperature changes will cause the construction materials to expand and contract.  Buyer is responsible for inspecting connections and re-tightening fasteners as needed.

  • To maintain the protective coatings, we recommend re-application of stain or sealer every two (2) years.

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS apply if the item has been subjected to neglect, misuse, alteration, unauthorized repairs, relocation, dents, dings, scratches, incorrect applications, Acts of God, and all other uncontrollable events are not covered by this warranty.

Any minor discrepancies that may occur to finishes (such as sealer, stains, stone veneer, etc.) during or after warranty period ARE NOT typically considered to be a warranty issue. For this reason, we include touch-up kits for all finishes, to allow you to make these repairs when necessary.

Examples of acts that ARE NOT covered by this warranty include, but are not limited to:

  • Does not cover minor warping, natural splits & checking of lumber, and other cosmetic imperfections that do not affect structural performance.

  • Damage caused by insects, vermin, and animals.

  • Scratches caused by normal use or abuse.

  • Damage due to extreme weather (hot, cold, rain, winds, severe weather, snow, etc.)

  • Variation in colors due to exposure to sunlight, rain, wind, snow, etc.

  • Damage caused by dirt, debris, or water damage.

  • Damage caused by moving, repositioning or relocating of product.

  • Failure to follow installation instructions, and use of unsuitable anchoring foundations.

  • Failure to maintain the product in a reasonable/responsible manner.

  • Does not cover third-party materials or labor cost incurred for assembly, permits, and inspections.

Please include your name, delivery address, email address and phone number.  Describe what issue you need assistance with and provide photos of the problem, if possible.

If the product was damaged during shipping, please note the damage on the shipper’s documents and include a copy of the shipper documents with your claim.  Shipping damage claims must be reported to us within seven (7) days of receiving your product.
